Magwar Training Institute of Science and Technology (MTIST) is a newly established TVET institution which is founded based on strong religious principles of love, honesty, moral decency and personal responsibility. The institute is located at Magwar Market within Kisumu County, some 6 kilometers from Maseno Town in a serene, quiet rural setting conducive for serious pursuit of academic goals. It has decent physical facilities that are well suited for learner-centered skills development in business studies and various technical/technological career endeavors.

The management of MTIST consists of competent and focused professionals who have a proven track record coupled with wide local, national and international experience in post school education and training. They lead a team of qualified and motivated staff who put the interest and welfare of the trainee at the center of everything they do.
